An impromptu morning spent at The Avenue Tennis Club in Havant, Hampshire boasting 17 courts, 10 of which are grass. The Chapperses continued their winning streak against a strong mixed pair. Playing on a superb grass court they won 2 sets to 1. Up the Amherst! Interesting fact: their Head Coach Ashley Neaves used to play at Amherst as a junior!

We may not always win at tennis but we certainly win on the catering and social tennis front. Wow. What fabulous food our members and their families provided for the evening. Dishes and bakes that would have won Showstoppers on the Bake Off !!

35+ people mixed in for some fun social tennis. We even got Pete F and Suzi on court. The fun continued in the club house with pub games.

Mid December and so many sitting outside enjoying the evening.

Amherst at its best.
