What a positive start to the school year! Lots of learning about pioneers, head teacher stickers and post cards and ending the day with some story time!

It wouldn't be the last day without the traditional Hollington Primary School corridor of honour for our year 6 leavers.

All of the children who access our provision on The Bridge were fantastic in their sports day! Some amazing archery skills on show 🏹

Year Five completed their work with yesterday when they attended the Children's International Film Festival. 600 short films were submitted and they were nominated for TWO categories.

They also completed a workshop about animation and sound effects, learning how they are made and the importance of them in films and film production!

What a performance. Super proud of all of our athletes who took on competitors from all of the other The Pioneer Academy schools in the annual athletics competition. A particular well done for RECORD BREAKING DJ who was victorious in the 400m.

CHICK UPDATE!

We were lucky enough to have lots of chicks but the children in EYFS said goodbye to some who returned to the farm. They are really excited to see the rest grow amd stay here at Hollington!

Thank you Dramadus performing arts for your fantastic workshop with year 6. They write their own song, devised their own drama scene and performed in front of years 2, 3 and 4.

An amazing confidence boost before they start preparations for their own show coming soon!
