Some of our SUP Club crew are in Devon and Cornwall for our annual social surf weekend 🏄‍♀️

From catching waves to exploring new places, learning new skills or simply enjoying a paddle with friends, there are so many ways to enjoy SUP.

And sometimes, it’s just about the people you share it with! 💙🩵

A few days away in Dorset for our EpicLife staff trip!

After a busy season, some of our staff have been enjoying a few days away in Dorset.

Just like everyone else, we love having the opportunity to paddle in different locations, explore new waters and practise our skills in different environments.

We’ve had a great few days paddling tidal estuaries and along the coastline. The weather certainly gave us a few challenges along the way, but that’s all part of the fun and a great opportunity to keep learning!

It’s also been lovely to spend some time together as a team away from our usual sites.

Now it’s time for our annual SUP surf trip in Devon, with staff and customers heading off for more fun on the water!

A huge well done to Scott on an incredible achievement!

Scott completed an amazing 39km stand-up paddle challenge, paddling out to the French shipping lanes and taking on some difficult conditions along the way.

A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved after all the hours of training and preparation Scott has put in, while also raising money for The Evie Dove Foundation.

Scott has been doing some of his training with our MD & Head Coach, Cliff, working on his paddling technique and efficiency in preparation for the challenge.

Scott said that without the coaching sessions with Cliff, he honestly doesn’t think he would have made it. The sessions helped him better understand his paddling technique and how to paddle more efficiently — something that made a real difference over such a long distance.

A massive well done from everyone at EpicLife, Scott! An incredible challenge and achievement.

Now we are looking forward to hearing what the next challenge will be!

What a great start to October we have been having!

With the lovely sunshine continuing, we’ve had another busy week enjoying plenty of time outdoors and on the water.

We welcomed some of the students from Tonbridge Boys School for a paddleboarding session, enjoyed a whole day of fun with the Sevenoaks School CCF Navy Cadets with archery, axe throwing, kayaking and paddleboarding, as well as more paddleboarding sessions, a kids’ party and our SUP Club enjoying a fantastic sea paddle this morning.

We are absolutely loving these autumn paddles — sunshine, quieter waterways and the changing colours make it such a lovely time of year to be out on the water.

Next week, our staff are heading off on our annual staff trip and training, so both of our sites will be closed Monday–Friday.

October is nearly here, which means half term isn’t far away!

Looking for something to keep the children active and outdoors during the October half term? We’ve got plenty of fun planned at both Bodiam and Tonbridge.

Our Kids Holiday Club at Bodiam is running on Thursday 22nd, Tuesday 27th & Thursday 29th October, 9am–3:30pm.

From fun on the water to bushcraft and archery, it’s a full day of outdoor adventures, learning new skills and making the most of being outside.

Our Kids Paddle Club at Tonbridge is on Monday 26th October, 9am–12pm.

A fun-filled morning on the water with paddleboarding, paddling skills, water safety and plenty of games!

A great way to get them outdoors, keep them active and have some fun this half term.

September has been a lovely month to be out on the water!

We have loved making the most of the beautiful weather and enjoying the peacefulness of our rivers and the sea.

It’s been fantastic to get out paddling and enjoy the last of the summer sunshine.

As we head into October, with the gorgeous autumn colours starting to appear, it’s a wonderful time to get out on the water and enjoy the changing seasons.

WOW – a huge congratulations to Rosa, who has paddled the English Channel!

What an incredible achievement and a real testament to all the hard work, training and determination that goes into taking on a challenge like this.

Our MD, Cliff Meaden, was delighted to be part of Rosa’s journey, helping with her training and preparation. Cliff has supported a number of paddlers training for Channel crossings and endurance events.
