Where Can ILM Take You?

Some of our graduates become freelance coaches. Others lead internal coaching schemes or make a huge difference to their organisations and colleagues. Your ILM qualification can open multiple doors.

The key is that having an ILM qualification means that you are nationally, even internationally recognised for your knowledge and skills. As an ILM Coaching and Mentoring qualification holder, you can prove knowledge and skills to clients and employers.

ILM Common Questions - How Long Does Each ILM Coaching Level Take to Complete?

One of the most common ILM questions we get is about time commitment. Level 3 typically takes around 6–9 months, Level 5 around 9–12 months, and Level 7 can take 12–18 months.

The pace is flexible, and we build the programme around your schedule so you can balance learning with work and life. You’ll be delivering a number of coaching hours so your coachees also impact the pace!
