This week in sunflower room we have been celebrating National Science Week! 👩🏼‍🔬 The children have played with different colours of oobleck, coloured in lots of great science pictures and experimented with different bath bombs!🌟🧪👩🏼‍🔬

Happy Pancake Day! 🥞

Yesterday we celebrated pancake day with a pancake playdough pod, pancake face sticking and eating some yummy pancakes too! The children really enjoyed trying to flip the playdough pancakes in the pod and we spoke about the ingredients you need to make pancakes, and all the different toppings you can have too! 🥞😋🍌🍓🍫🍯🍋

Australia Day! 🇦🇺🦘

Yesterday we celebrated Australia Day with lots of different activities! The children enjoyed playing Australian animal snap, making the Australian flag and cooking some food on a BBQ! They also loved playing with a big kangaroo and an Australian hat! 🦘🇦🇺

Christmas in Buttercups 💛🌼

The children in the Buttercup room have been super busy getting ready for Christmas! They’ve made an amazing fireplace to hang their stockings on 🔥, a Stickman winter board ❄️ made some yummy Christmas tree cones 🎄and some penguin sticking! 🐧

This week the children have been busy making some daffodils to decorate our stall at Light Up Hassocks, as we are raising money for 🌼

Happy St Andrew’s Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

Today we celebrated St Andrew’s Day by painting the Scottish flag and reading some Scottish books together 💙

Happy 25th Birthday 🎉

The children had a special Zebedees delivery today for their 25th Anniversary! They had a super yummy BBQ chicken and rice for lunch and for pudding a chocolate and beetroot cake which they got to decorate themselves with some cream cheese frosting! 😋
There was also a bag of goodies that arrived with their lunch today which consisted of stickers and some colouring pages that the children enjoyed colouring in after lunch! 🤩

Starting off Children In Need week the best way! 😋🧁

All week we will be having a cake sale to raise money for 🎉 Feel free to make or donate some cakes for our sale this week! There is a collection pot on the table as well 😊

🎃 Happy Feet Halloween 🎃

Yesterday we celebrated Halloween with lots of different activities! The Sunflowers played with some Halloween inspired playdough, the Bluebells played in a pumpkin patch sensory tray and every room went trick or treating!
We also had a Halloween disco altogether as well as a tea party! We all had so much fun! ❤️🎃

With the cost-of-living rising, we at Happy Feet wanted to do our best to help our families here who may need a few extra food items during the week.

We have teamed up with Neighbourly and Sainsbury's in Hassocks to provide a food bank for the parents and carers at our setting. Alternatively, if you know of anyone who may be in need of a few items please do take some for them as well!

Today was our first collection and we have a lovely selection of fresh bread, rolls, doughnuts, cookies, milk and cereals. 🍞🥖🍩🍪🥛🥣
