π π¦ Dinosaur Discovery π¦ π
Our little explorers became palaeontologists for the day, searching for dinosaur bones, matching colours and rebuilding skeletons piece by piece. They used their science skills to make volcanos erupt as well as wading through the gooey dino swamp! ππΌ π π
Using visual prompts and discussion cards, the children explored the differences between carnivores, herbivores and omnivores while developing problem-solving, observation and critical thinking skills.
The adventure continued with a challenge! π Following footprint trails, collecting clues and balancing across stepping stones helped develop gross motor skills, coordination, proprioception, spatial awareness and confidence.
Learning through play at its finest! π¦΄β¨
