Well the Jungle animals came out to meet Samara Barnes who came today to collect a whopping £450!! raised for Barnardo's Samara told us that this money would do a lot of good and thanked the children.
I would like to thank Joanne and family for helping fill the wonderful cake stall. Our staff for joining us and providing face, painting, tattoos balloons and lots of cuddles.
We could not have raised this without the help, toddling and laughter of our parents and of course our ducklings.
A big shout out to friends, family and passersby that also contributed to our fundraising on the day.
You should all be incredibly proud!!

OOOOH! Something exciting so coming tonight!
As the pre-school children have been excited talking about rockets, stars and Space, building their own rockets from loose parts and construction materials, practicing walking like they are in space with zero gravity and having lots more fun they have made a Solar Eclipse box to be able to see the moon move infront of the sun safely!

Autumn may feel like ages away but before we know it the clocks will change and our children will be heading to and from school in the dark. Wearing a brighter coloured coat can help them be seen more easily by drivers as the nights draw in.
If your child or their school insists on a darker colour you can add reflective strips to increase visibility.

While Helium isn’t toxic, inhaling it can be deadly. Especially for children.
Breathing it in displaces oxygen in the lungs. Loss of consciousness can happen in seconds. Brain damage and death within minutes.
And there won’t be any warning, choking or struggle to alert you.
That probably sounds scary but there are things you can do to prevent it:
👉Don’t inhale helium. It’s not worth the high-pitched voice effect.
👉Avoid letting children cover their face or head with a helium balloon. Numbers with holes in can be especially tempting.
👉Keep helium balloons away from small children when you’re not there to watch them
👉Dispose of helium balloons safely once the celebration is over.
