Here's what has been happening this week!

🩻 Y12 Health & Social Care students visited Royal Blackburn Hospital's Clinical Care unit.

🤝 Ms Newell and Miss Duckworth attended the annual Rossendale Means Business expo to discuss work experience opportunities.

💡We held our annual Futures Evening to help Y10 make their post-16 choices.

🍓 We welcomed Y5 students for high school taster lessons, including making fruit kebabs in Food Tech.

🎭 Y7 Drama Lab went on a tour of local primary schools to perform a piece on the worries of starting high school.

🏏Our Y9 Rounders team are heading to the County Finals after an undefeated run.

🎶 We hosted Haslingden Arts Festival.

⚖️ Aston University hosted a workshop on Justice and Morality.

📈 We kick-started our sixth form Next Steps programme by welcoming the University of Lancashire.

🚫 Ms Marsland held an assembly on being screen-free.

🥈 Evie achieved Silver in the Gold for Gold reading challenge.

🎧 Isla competed in the Future Cheer Dance European Grand Championships in Barcelona.

This week, we hosted the annual Haslingden Arts Festival 🎭🎶

We welcomed local primary and high school students to take part in two evening performances and showcase their amazing young talent!

Bike Marking Event – This Sunday!

ℹ️ Message from Lancashire Police:

Join Rossendale Police this Sunday (7th June) to get your bike securely marked and help protect it from theft.

📍 10am–12noon at Bacup Football Club, Cowtoot Lane, Bacup OL13 8EE

📍 1pm–3pm at Adrenaline Haslingden Sports Centre, Helmshore Rd, Haslingden, BB4 4DN

Bike marking is a quick and effective way to deter thieves and increase the chances of recovering your bike if it’s stolen.

No booking needed – just turn up with your bike.
