🍦💦 What a way to celebrate the end of the year!

Our learners and staff enjoyed a well-deserved treat with an ice cream van visit, followed by an epic water fight to cool off and kick-start the summer fun. 😎☀️

Lots of laughs, smiles, and great memories made together. Here's to a fantastic year and an even brighter one ahead!

As we reach the end of another successful academic year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of the Valley College journey.

To our dedicated staff, hardworking learners, supportive advocates, valued employers and partners, directors, and all our stakeholders - thank you for your continued support, commitment, and collaboration throughout the year.

Together, we have celebrated achievements, overcome challenges, created opportunities, and supported one another every step of the way. Your contribution has helped make 2025-26 a year to be proud of.

This week, Valley College Rossendale hosted our very first "Afternoon Tea for Employers with SEND training." What a great afternoon we had. Our Learners served the drinks and cakes, whilst welcoming the employers into our college. Learners delivered a presentation on their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future, which led nicely onto an introduction about Valley College and then the SEND training.

An amazing afternoon had by all. The staff, learners and employers all contributed and took something from the session.

We are already planning for the next one........

☀️🎉 What an incredible evening at the Valley College Summer Ball! 🌟💃🕺

A night filled with laughter, dancing, great company, and unforgettable memories! 🎶✨ From the stunning outfits 👗🤵 to the fantastic atmosphere 🌈🎊, it was a celebration to remember.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event so special ❤️🙌. Here's to an amazing summer and many more memories together! 🌞🥂✨

Pace 5 have been incredibly busy over the last couple of weeks with the final push before the summer hols ☀️

This week Pace 5 visited the Zoo and were able to show members of the public how professional we are at Valley College. Learners were able to navigate the zoo by following signs and looking at the maps.
We were very lucky to have been less than 1 FOOT away from a tiger 🐅 and also a baby Orangutan 🦧.
Learners also were able to see an amazing sea lion show 🦭 which thoroughly entertained us all.

It was a great day all round and we even managed to get over 10,000 steps! 🚶
