I have been working in the field of both education and tutoring for over 25 years, constantly keeping up to date with all the latest research and development in my fields. From GCSEs and A Levels to Common Entrance and iGCSE, I can offer a wealth of experience and proven success across all exam boards. Furthermore, having line managed a thriving SEND Department and taught SEND students with needs
ranging from dyslexia and processing issues, to ASD, ADHD and PDA, and any SEMH needs, I can offer expertise at guiding your child confidently through whatever challenges they may face. From extra, top-up tuition to Home Schooling and coaching in exam techniques, confidence building and simply rebuilding trust in the learning process, I can offer a broad range of support and tuition. As well as tutoring, I can also spend time getting to know your child and help to identify and special needs they might have which are not yet being recognised, supporting you in plugging these gaps. This in itself can have a profound impact on their success, turning your child from a switched off and demotivated student into a confident and resilient learner for life. I can also offer experience in Educational Provision report writing tailored to support EHCP plans; meeting with LEAs and liaising with schools to advise on supporting learning in the classroom. Lastly (but often most importantly!) I can provide motivational study and revision support and coaching for students at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level; and degree students looking for help with dissertations, time management and revision skills (again, with proven track record of impact and high level of success).
