Last week there were many school nativity plays, Christmas parties and meetings of Santa for all the little ones.
As there was so much excitement I strived to give the little ones as calm a setting as possible whilst still incorporating Christmas fun.
So we did Christmas themed colouring, made our own baubles and as a final treat I dug out an old Christmas tree and decorations and let the little ones decorate it as they wanted! 🎄🎄

This morning we have been investigating different construction vehicles after watching a mini excavator digging up the pavement. The little one decided that a crane was a must so with a little help from me, mainly as the chief duplo brick holder😂,the little one has created a truly wonderful crane. It does seem to fall apart with alarming regularity, but each time is met with excited giggles and extra bits added on, to "make it stronger!"
