WOW WOW WOW!

A truly heartfelt THANK YOU to every single family, parent, and future student who filled our academy with so much warmth, energy, and life at our Year 6 Open Evening tonight! 💜

Seeing our halls and classrooms so vibrant and busy was an absolute privilege. Watching our future Year 6 pupils buzzing around with excited smiles, asking wonderful questions, and throwing themselves into every activity truly reminded us why we love what we do. Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the entire academy light up.

We know choosing a secondary school is a big and important step, and we are so deeply grateful that you took the time out of your busy evening to spend it with us. Opening our doors to such a supportive and vibrant community is always a highlight of our year.

Come along TONIGHT from 4pm - 7pm to see everything our academy has to offer!

🎤 Principal’s Speech

Mr. Cope will deliver his presentation in the Main Hall at 4pm. Don't worry if you miss the first one—he will be repeating the speech at 5:30pm so everyone gets a chance to hear it!

🚶‍♂️ Explore at Your Own Leisure

Outside of the speech, you are free to walk around the academy at your own pace, visit different departments, meet our teachers, and see what life here is all about!

D**e House 3–3 Easington (D**e House progress 4–3 on penalties) 🏆⚽

A first win of the season for the D**e House Year 10s tonight against a strong Easington side who had won back-to-back games so far this season!

After a cagey start, D**e House created the first opening when Olly W showed blistering speed to break through the back four, only to be denied by a good save from the Easington keeper. Shortly after, D**e House went 1–0 up after a great ball from George B sent Zach D through on goal, who expertly chipped the keeper.

Thomas T then produced a miraculous goal-line clearance to preserve the lead before Easington eventually found an equaliser with a strong finish from a tight angle. D**e House quickly responded, with George B once again picking out Zach D to make it 2–1 heading into half-time.

Shortly after the break, Ben S produced a trademark powerful run from midfield and calmly slotted into the bottom corner to extend the lead to 3–1. Just as a comfortable victory seemed in sight, Easington hit back with two long balls that caused havoc in the D**e House defence, bringing the game back to 3–3.

After a cagey finish, the match went to penalties. Hayden C pulled off a corker of a save when needed most, and Charlie A calmly slotted home the deciding spot-kick to send D**e House into the next round of the ESFA National Cup!

• Romeo A: Played his first school game of the year and put in a superb first-half performance at left-back, where his long throws terrorised the opposition defence.

• Charlie A: Came on in the second half in central midfield and really caught the eye with his great passing and composure when the team needed it most.
