Hope everyone had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend,
Enjoying the weather..
We took a bit of time to give the old girl a bit of TLC, and to check and replace some bits below the water line..

Maybe next time not during the heat wave...

Back in the water tomorrow.

Congratulations to Noah on his Day skipper qualification
Noah has just finished his last 3 days of the Day Skipper crs,
Noah brought his skills from his dingy sailing background to complete, with sailing on a anchor point, mob, and something new for him was the night sail where we done a passage from the Tyne to Hartlepool.
Keep up the good work mate,

Fantastic first 2 days of a Day skipper and Comp crew crs.

Cracking job to the crew, keep up the good work,

4 trips into the season and we have took some major damage....

So after a great first 5 day crs we are preparing for the next.
Hopefully without any storms

Half way into our first 5 day, Day Skipper course with a fab bunch of crew consisting of a berth holder from hartlepool, someone that's booked up to do the Clipper race, and a father and son team looking to buy their own yacht.
Great 3 days of skills including, close quarters manoeuvring in some rather windy conditions, sailing on an anchor, points of sail, pilotage techniques and use of electronic equipment.
Blimey and two more days to go plus a night sail...
Let this nasty wind pass and then we'll be back out.

And we're back,
Cracking start to the season,
Looking forward to seeing you all on the water.

We would like to wish all are lovely customers, crew and friends a very merry Christmas, Hope you are all on the nice list, and santa brings you lots of shiny boaty stuff.

It's not often it happens but when it dose its good.
Whitby to the Tyne via Tees Bay about 50ish miles in 5hours 40mins.
And to top it off to be invited to the Royal Quays marina berth holders party..
