Inspectors recognised the very heart of our school, describing Ward Jackson as:
“A small school with love and care at the centre of it. The school is warm and welcoming. It is an inclusive community where pupils feel safe, valued and confident to be themselves.”

They recognised the powerful sense of belonging that defines our school:
“The school fosters a great sense of belonging. Pupils have positive relationships with staff and peers, enjoy collaborative play and participate fully in school life.”

💛 We are especially proud that our work in Inclusion and in Personal Development and Wellbeing was recognised as “strong”.
Inspectors noted that:
“…pupils feel valued and develop confidence, resilience and independence. Strong pastoral care underpins this work. Staff know pupils extremely well.”

This report belongs to our whole Ward Jackson Family. A huge well done and thank you to all staff, pupils, families, our wonderful Trust: DND Learning Trust, and all stakeholders who work to support our brilliant school.
