A massive thank you to the legendary Stoltman brothers, Tom and Luke Stoltman, for taking the time to send a video of support! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ†

Tom, a 4x World's Strongest Man, and Luke, a former Europe's Strongest Man, are two of the biggest names in strength sport and fantastic ambassadors for Scotland and the UK. To receive their support means a huge amount and we're incredibly grateful.

With just 4 weeks left to vote, we're entering the final push and every vote really does make a difference.

๐ŸŒฟ Introducing Our Environment Team! ๐ŸŒฟ

We are delighted to introduce our new Environment Team at Ward Jackson! ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’š

Our Environment Team is made up of enthusiastic volunteer pupils who are passionate about looking after our school and helping to keep our local community clean, tidy and beautiful.

Through their work, they will encourage everyone to take pride in our surroundings, care for the environment and make a positive difference.

Over the coming months, the team will be leading litter-picking activities, promoting environmental awareness and supporting projects to make our school grounds even more welcoming and attractive.

We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for showing such commitment, responsibility and care for the world around them.

They are a wonderful example of our school values in action as they help our community to love, learn and explore while making a difference for others.

Well done, Environment Team โ€“ we can't wait to see the impact you make! ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

From cracking addition to exploring Roman gladiators, tackling rugby skills, making potato soup, creating cave art and mastering repeating patterns... and thatโ€™s only some of it! ๐Ÿ˜Š

A week full of learning, creativity, teamwork and fun. Well done everyone!

The Ward Jackson Way in Action ๐Ÿ’™

Another fantastic week at Ward Jackson, with so many examples of our children living out our core values of respect, courage, kindness, compassion and truthfulness. Following The Ward Jackson Way, our children continue to love, learn and explore every day, supporting one another, embracing challenges and making us proud.

Our KS2 children enjoyed a fantastic DT afternoon showcasing their creativity in our Junk Fashion Show.

Using recycled materials, they designed and modelled some incredible outfits, demonstrating imagination, teamwork and confidence throughout.
A huge thank you to Mr Barker-Platt for leading the project and making the afternoon such a success. We would also like to thank our families for their generous donations of recyclable materials, which made the event possible.

Well done to all of our young designers and models. We are very proud of you.

Thank you so much to Hartlepoolโ€™s own and former WBO world middleweight champion Savannah Marshall for this brilliant message of support for our children โ€” a real lift for our community, and we canโ€™t wait for the kids to see it.

With 50 days left, your encouragement means a lot to everyone at Ward Jackson as we start the new term.

Please vote here to put Hartlepool firmly on the world stage:

Weโ€™re very excited about our new indoor sensory climbing wall! ๐ŸŒŸ

It gives our children another way to develop strength, coordination and confidence, while also supporting sensory regulation and giving them a safe, purposeful way to move their bodies.

Another little addition to help make sure our environment meets the needs of all of our children ๐Ÿ’›

Physical development and sensory experiences are vital in the early years, and our children have shown that brilliantly in their first two weeks back at Ward Jackson as they climb, balance, build, pour, squish and explore โ€” strengthening their bodies, developing fineโ€‘motor skills and making sense of the world through rich sensory play, with their confidence, curiosity and joy already shining through.

Thank you to our EYFS and KS1 teams for making sure their children get the best possible start.
