Unleash Your Power is a Unique, Fitness, Fun and Games initiative, giving experiences that provide your children with the tools to live a happy, healthy and more confident life. This is available to ALL children, different age groups will be trialed where children will be welcomed and given a range of opportunities to learn new skills and meet new friends. Unleash Your Power focuses on a child's w
ill to learn new skills, improve performance and help other people, and will take special note of any talent discovered, always encouraging and pointing children in the right direction if they wish to develop their skills further in a particular area. Qualified local trainers will support the children to work together as a team, developing their confidence and encouraging positive mental health through a structured programme of games and activities. The Unleash Your Power programme is based on extensive research that shows fun, participation and team work can make a huge difference in the health and fitness of young people. Benefits can extend to mental health, happiness and well being, as the children grow as part of a supportive community that recognises enthusiasm, effort and potential. Unleash Your Power offers a real opportunity to try new things, become more self aware and learn how helping other people can bring a range of rewards. Session dates and times will be announced very soon, each session will run for 90 minutes and will cost just 6 pounds per child per session. This scheme has been devised by Mally Kelly who has over 20 years experience working in sports development and local football. Mally is supported by a team of experienced consultants, including teachers, youth workers and community education specialists, all with a passion for supporting young people in Hartlepool.
