The year 5 and 6 art club had a go at making lino print blocks. They will print them next week. We found lino print very relaxing. Laura showed us examples of her lino prints. She is off to exhibit her work at an art show tomorrow so she had some huge prints to show us. We were very inspired!

Our Year 6 children had the best time on Tuesday representing our school at Durham Cathedral Leaver's ceremony. We then gave the children a tasty treat at Fat Hippo and a play in the park for all of their hard work this year 😃🍔

Year 5 and 6 art club are exploring calographic printing today. They are making the printing blocks tonight and will complete their prints in a couple of weeks time.

How lucky are we that we are learning about cello in music and Miss Burden can play it!

Our year 5s spent some time at Wellfield School today alongside year 5's from.other local schools.

One of our pupils has been offered a place in the Durham U12 Squad which is an amazing achievement. Such a lot of hard work, dedication and talent is required to be offered a place and we are very proud of you ! Keep following your dream ⚽️ 🌟 🏆

Some additions to the playground today definitely made play more fun. Hula necklaces, rubber rings and cardboard tubes were all that was needed to bring plenty of smiles to their faces. 😃 🌞

Year 5 and 6 art club was lots of fun. We had the chance to explore printing letter press letters and used a printing press to write our names and initials. All artwork will come home when the sessions are finished. It looks fantastic!
