A huge congratulations to Amelie who is celebrating her success after achieving a distinction for her ABRSM Grade One practical piano exam. Amelie has worked really hard and is a joy to teach ! 🎹🎶

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of our former student and friend 'Disco' Dave Dickenson.

Dave was part of the school for over ten years.

He was an inspiration to older learners - by passing his grade 1 piano at the age of 70 and his grade 2 at 75 - proving you're never too old to try a new thing. His exam successes were truly a highlight of my teaching career .

Our thoughts and love go to his family.

Rest in peace Dave. ❤️

This Sunday, we see quite a few of our amazingly talented students (and one of our teachers) take to the stage for Hartlepool Junior Stage Society's performance of Dare to Dream Jr
We hope that they all have an amazing time and show what amazing superstars they are! Break a leg Liv, Katy, Julie, Evie, Poppy, Charlotte, Sophia, Alex, Elsie, Alice, Yasmine, Grace, Idha, Honey and of course, Sarah!

'His legacy will live on': Student honoured with award in memory of former musician A Hartlepool student is the first person to receive an award set up in memory of a “wonderful” former music school student following his death.

The lovely Sarah Coward had her last (for a while ) lesson with Kate. There were tears (from Kate obviously ) !

We had a wonderful afternoon of entertainment in St Hilda’s church with our classical concert!
Singing, piano, flute and even an oboe - you name it, we had all ages and abilities taking part today
We also presented our first ever Joe Larkin Memorial scholarship

Happy 17th birthday to our gorgeous Lauren Wood

She has been a student since she was 4 !

Hopefully she'll forgive us for this 🤣🤣
