Y1 have had a wonderful day at Beamish today, bringing history from the past to life!
The children have been fantastic and fully immersed themselves in the experience.

We are now on our way back to school and expect to arrive at approximately 4pm due to traffic

Whilst visiting Cragside House Year 4 took some time to sketch different areas of the grounds. It was a lovely environment, which made for some rather brilliant drawings.

Year 4 arrived safely at Cragside and enjoyed a well-earned lunch after their journey 😊🥪

They are now busy exploring the impressive house and beautiful grounds, learning all about how people lived in the past. What a fantastic opportunity to step back in time and bring their learning to life! ✨

Year 4 didn’t let the rain stop their learning! Instead, they took shelter with an exciting visit to the Hadrian’s Wall Museum, where they stepped back in time to discover life as a Roman soldier 🛡️

The children explored fascinating artefacts, learned about Roman culture, and gained a deeper understanding of what life was like along Hadrian’s Wall. What a fantastic way to bring history to life!✨

Our fantastic Year 4 pupils have arrived safely at Hadrian’s Wall and are already making the most of their visit! Despite the blustery weather, spirits are high as they explore this incredible piece of Roman history.

Starting school is a big milestone, and Hartlepool Family Hubs are here to help make the transition as smooth and exciting as possible! 💙

'School Here I Come!' Sessions are designed for children aged 3–5 to help build confidence and prepare for starting school.

Throughout the six-week summer holidays, families can access friendly and supportive sessions available both in person and online 🌟

The sessions focus on important skills including:
🗣 Communication
🌈 Independence
🤝 Making new friends
🎓 Getting ready for the classroom environment

These fun activities will help children feel more confident and prepared for their very first day at school 😊
