Any parent ever facing the ultimate challenge of finding an honest, reliable trustworthy Childminder will never need to look any further than Cheryl’s Childminding. Our son Reece was only five months old when it was time for me to return to work, I was so apprehensive about finding the ‘right’ person that we could trust to care for our precious baby, but I need not have worried.
The moment I met Cheryl with her lovely warm outgoing personality, meticulous high standards and absolute total and utter dedication and commitment to the children in her care I knew that Reece would be cared for as he was within our family. I could not have been any closer to the truth, but genuinely had never expected the level of care, support, guidance, motivation, belief and fun that Cheryl provided for Reece and all the children.
Here we are ten years later, our choice of school for Reece was based upon the fact that he would remain with Cheryl outside of school hours, and he has loved every single moment with her.
Friday was Reece’s last day at primary school, and the day that we had all been dreading was looming, his last morning at Cheryl’s Childminding, but Cheryl being Cheryl always going that extra mile and putting the children first, suggested a tea for Reece and some of the older children that he had made friends with over the years, which was such a lovely thought, and the beautiful ‘good luck at your new school’ gift that Cheryl gave Reece to mark his ten years with her is an amazing memory of the happy years that they have shared together, which we will cherish forever.
Like all families, we have faced some challenging times, but Cheryl has always been flexible, gone above and beyond and most of all been a safe happy haven for Reece. I will never have the words to thank Cheryl for her huge role in Reece’s development into a kind, thoughtful outgoing young man who is ready for the next step of his journey.
If you are on that dreaded journey of looking for a childminder your search is most definitely over and if Cheryl can help you, she will.
As we have said many times Cheryl, this is by no means goodbye simply the next stage of Reece’s life, of which you will always be part.

💚💙❤️💛🧡 Well this has undoubtedly been the toughest hurdle I've encountered in my 10 years of childminding 💔 The one who's been on this journey with me from the very start of Cheryls Childminding opening. He's a very big part of mine and my family's heart and we love him unconditionally and will forever more! BUT .... it's definitely not goodbye to him and his amazing family but good luck in his next chapter and I know he will be just awesome at everything that comes his way coz that's just what he is AWESOME! Well I can no longer see (for the millionth time this week😭) so I'll sign off here and go ugly cry in a corner somewhere! Geez I knew this would always be tough, but I don't think I was ever prepared for how tough it really is 💔

From his first day at nursery to his last day of primary school and over 10 years of loving him as if he were my own and my "not so little anymore" Reecicles is off on to the next chapter of his life at "Big school" He will forever be part of our family and he is signed up to us for life now whether he likes it or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's not Goodbye it's good luck in your new school Reece, we love you the world and we will see you soon (well Tuesday for your party tea! 🥳- Not me dragging this out at all 🫣) # # # 😭
