Very unusual Nikkyo - we use green (Eeeee) & the yellow (Iiiiii) sounds and shapes more often than people assume. Balance in yourself and others is key to powerful technique.
Look Beyond The Obvious - aikido has both seeable & unseeable techniques - they are equally important

Nikkyo is far more than an armlock. Yes it induces pain - shock and acts as a control of an opponent. Also it can be used to rebalance your partner and thus yourself.
Both versions of Nikkyo use the Mu.Su.Bi shape to enable them. It is about the Intention of the defender / attacker.
Top tip :Think the shapes through your body. Make them part of you - your movement. Breathe them in and out. Apply colour and sound to amplify the martial and harmonious applications.
*all shapes are 3-D; have assigned colours & kotodamic sounds.🙏
Aikido 50% unseeable arts : 50 % seeable art. Hidden within the techniques is an evolving shape - colour series and sounds. We should study all aspects to complete our journey.

Exercise 3 : replenish- refresh!
3rd Day of practice this morning as the sunrise came through the trees. Exercise 3- enjoy and breath - drawing in nature and place it within yourself -
This Weekend Join Me Using the Mu.Su.Bi Breathing Exercises. Take one long weekend and build and invigorate yourself.
When in nature or the dojo it is important to balance between the three:-
* Training in nature. To balance yourself, replenish your energy and then return to nature refreshed energy from your Mu.Su.Bi breathing exercises/ movements. Sometimes open the doors of our dojo and train outside!
* Training with a partner with the intention to balance them through the integration of the Aiki-Mushin-Wado trilogy. Using the Mu.Su.Bi shapes and aikido technique ( which the Mu.Su.Bi shapes are embedded within) to align and refresh ourselves and other people. “This is why people feel so great after an aikido practice - it is much more than an endorphin rush!”
* Training the martial side of Aikido; the resolution of conflict through to combat level interactions. The absolute destruction of your opponent. Here the Mu.Su.Bi shapes are used in their original form - with devastating results.
Here is the final breathing exercise of a set of three; should the shapes used in nature to replenish your energy.
Please remember it is hard to give others energy, when you are depleted. Breath, visualise and use sound to refresh and enable yourself.
WSM Aikido kanji reads “to stop fighting - conflict within yourself or others before it begins” this is the Art Of Peace.
