Ashville's dedicated and hard-working Music and Performing Arts departments, make great use of the College’s exceptional music and drama facilities throughout the year. The Soothill Hall, with its extensive sound and lighting equipment, can be transformed into a full working theatre, while the purpose-built drama studio is perfect for smaller productions and rehearsals.
From musical theatre to classical music, pupils across all year groups have the opportunity to perform and build confidence.
Congratulations must go to our Cambridge Technical in Performing Arts pupils, who all received distinctions on A Level Results Day. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and achievements and wish them well in their upcoming endeavours which include destinations such as Leeds Conservatoire, LIPA and The Royal Northern College of Music.

Budding physicists, musicians, an emerging Leeds United player and young Wimbledon tennis ace among those propelling Ashville to record-breaking GCSE results
Congratulations to all our Year 11 pupils today. They have achieved record-breaking academic progress in their GCSE results.
The Class of 2025 broke new ground in their overall performance across the year, securing results more than half a grade greater than their predicted score – a record high.
The Class of 2025 has a wide range of interests. Physics, considered as one of the more demanding GCSE subjects, saw 80 per cent of the entrants achieving grades of 9 and 8. Music saw 75 per cent of entrants awarded the highest possible grade of 9.
