I still built a fully booked bridal hair & education business without my Level 3 hairdressing qualification EVERYONE said I’d need to succeed in this industry

❌ How wrong they were - I entered this industry purely ss a hair extension stylist, no cuts, colours, blow dried - just simply hair extensions.

Now after working in salons & mobile it was only when we had a bridal hair training day I realised this was the path I wanted to go down BUT it wasn’t always that way.

I’ve got many qualifications and experience across a wide range of industries, corporate, retail, marketing, care work you name it I’ll have likely had a dabble.

Yet none of these fulfilled me in any way and I hated nothing more than being told what I can and can’t do, no progression, stuck at rubbish pay, and just feeling sick of the work world.

When I actually sat down and thought about what it was that didn’t feel like work and what I actually enjoyed, hair was the first and only thing that came to mind.

Now fast forward all these years later and I work for myself, choose when I want to work, when I don’t, when I can take my own ‘leave’ without ever having to ask anybody else’s permission.

And even better I get to put all that worldly experience plus the years of bridal hair and extensions into my courses and help others just like I was to build thriving businesses and break free from that limited corporate world.
