Social running group where no one is left behind. Finish line, not finish time! Stray Runners Harrogate are an inclusive Social Running group based in Harrogate.
Our run nights are usually Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm on the stray outside the Coach & Horses featuring our 5km run group and our 5km jeffing group (run walk - and chat a lot too). We run regular Couch to 5km programs throughout the year and have lots of social events. We intend to put the fun into running. Our group has an England Athletics qualified Coach and six qualified run leaders so help and support is never far away.

Another week, another 10K. This time some of us were lucky enough to secure places at the Rudding Parkrace, which sold out within 4 hours! A brilliant event with a fantastic atmosphere. Well done everyone, and also thank you to those that came to support us!

This morning we had two more of our Stray to 5K ladies complete their graduation run Harrogate parkrun. Another wonderful turnout to support them too. Well done ladies! 👏👏👏

After weeks of early morning Sunday training runs, some of our members took on the challenge of taking part in the Leeds Half Marathon today. Three of our ‘seasoned’ runners ran the full marathon!!! Kudos to them all. What an exciting and amazing achievement. Well done everyone 👏 🥇🏃♀️

Some of our members took the short trip to Melmerby last Sunday for the annual 10K race. The weather could have been kinder to us but we all enjoyed the wonderful countryside and had a blast!
Good luck to everyone taking part in the Leeds Marathon and Half Marathon tomorrow. Some of our members are taking part and we will post pics later in the day! marathon

We had our Stray to 5K Graduation this morning at a very damp but beautiful Fountains Abbey. A wonderful morning full of smiles and cake, followed by medals! Well done all!!! Also a big shout out to everyone who turned up to support the group! 👏 🥇 🍰
