This course is suitable for beginners and those with floristry experience. With a focus on bright summer flowers and woody elements we will create a summer meadow design, living bulb wreath. We will look at colour theory.

All students will need to bring their own greenery and flowers for each session. I will provide wires, tapes, bio foam and other items required for the mechanics. There is no need to spend a lot on flowers and greenery, greenery can be foraged and flowers can often be bought reduced its just the case of having something to practice with.

COASTAL ARTS
Friday 17th July 2026 09.30 - 15.30 £52

This daytime course invites you to express your creativity by designing and making and decorating up to 5 items. These will include wall hangings, fish mobiles, seaside cottages and lighthouse sculptures, beautiful seabirds and much more! It’s entirely up to you, what you choose to create but Sarah will be on hand to facilitate your ideas, provide all materials including blanks for many items, and provide examples for your inspiration.

All materials and tools are provided and this will include:

Heat treated driftwood
Blanks for painting: Seabirds, boats, cottages, lighthouses and fish.
All acrylic paints and varnish
Embellishments to bring sculpture to life
All tools and supplemental items.

Dot Mandala Painting Class

A fabulous way to create something unique and beautiful whilst also relaxing and relieving the stresses of everyday life!

On this full day(5 hour) course, you will be shown the basic techniques of dot mandalas and have the choice to create a large Mandala stone or hanging wall plaque, along with one or two smaller items, a pendant or paperweights.

You can bring lunch and if you wear reading glasses, definitely bring those!

Make a beautiful Garden Dragonfly Sculpture in Wire
29 May 2026 10.00 to 15.00 £46

In this course, you will make a large, galvanised steel wire dragonfly for the garden. You will learn a technique used in willow weaving to form a central, long body. The wire ends are then used to form eyes, tentacles, etc. More information is available on the website.

One of our minibuses has reached the end of its working life, and we need to replace it so our students can continue to take part in trips, sporting fixtures and enrichment activities. And so we can keep supporting the wider community too, we often work with local primary schools and charities, and our minibuses are invaluable.

Our goal is to raise £15,000 to purchase a good-quality second-hand minibus.
