A very busy term ended with four musical events for Christmas. Chapel Choir sang alongside local chamber choir Vocalis in a lovely varied programme featuring Chilcott's On Christmas Night. A lively Christmas concert featured our instrumental groups alongside singing and drama, then our customary carols after Christmas dinner took place in our candlelit chapel. Finally, our carol service was held on the last day of term in St Wilfrid's, our last one as Harrogate Ladies' College. Chapel Choir sang a challenging and varied selection of carols, including music by Britten, Chilcott, and an extract from Handel's Messiah.
