Fantastic Friday
A couple of weeks of mixed emotions. It’s that time of year when those that have been with us for some considerable time, move on to pastures new.
A special mention to a couple of our students - it has been a pleasure working with both of these young ladies since their primary years (from Year 1 in one instance), seeing how your personal and academic journeys have grown in both confidence and attainment.
Best of luck 🤞 . We have everything crossed for you and ALL our other Y6, Y11 and Y13 students just completing their SATs, GCSEs and A-Level exams. Please keep us updated with your progress!

Top Tip Thursday - Developing Reading at any age.
Tight for time? Why not try audiobooks. They're perfect after a long day when the kids just won't go to bed or when travelling. Have a physical copy of the book to hand to so they can read along too!

Top Tip Thursday - Developing Early Reading and Numeracy
Ask your child to find the things you need to buy when out shopping by reading the labels on products together.
See how much the item costs and how much change you would get for example from £1, £2, £5 or £10.

Young children are more likely to have a bad accident at home than anywhere else. But, once you know what to look out for, it’s easy to keep your child safe.
That’s why Child Safety Week is so important. Each message shared helps children lead active, healthy lives, safe from serious injury.
So please get involved by sharing our safety messages throughout this week and beyond.
Plus, don’t forget you can download our parent pack with lots of bite-sized safety tips to keep children safe: https://capt.org.uk/resources/parents-pack/
