We couldn’t be more proud of Mikey. Not only was he our first resident in after reopening, but he’s now gone self employed and taking care of business. 💪
PS. If anyone in the Killinghall/HLT area wants some work done, check out his flyer in the photo.

Some of our residents went on a church walk to Rievaulx Abbey this week. Joining a local church is such a huge part of the discipleship journey our residents are on, and we are so grateful for the fellowship and experiences they receive through them.
Thank you Mowbray Community Church.

St Thomas's church in Killinghall recently sent their heartfelt thanks to some of our lads for their very hard work in making the church looking beautiful again, including a good spruce up of the front door!
Matthew and Mickey have yet again, been working hard - Thank you to you both!

Can you sponsor a laptop? One of our residents has been accepted on a counselling course! How amazing is that, that he is training in order to give back in such a way. ❤️
But to do his course, he needs a laptop. Can you help him raise the £200 he needs? If so, please follow the link to donate what you can.
Thank you.

It's not all work, work, work here at Horizon Life Training.. A few weeks ago the weather was so nice, that an impromptu BBQ was had after church! Mikey loved his first ever experience of toasting marshmallows. Such a lovely time relaxing and fellowshipping together!

Mikey and Andy, alongside Mark and Chris (who avoided the camera!), have been busy in Killinghall over the last few weeks. They’ve been clearing weeds around the Village Hall, between the two churches and around the war memorial. What a great thing to do for the local community! Well done lads!
