We are launching New Rock Group Classes
Harrogate Music School is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new series of Rock Group Classes starting this September, taking place on Thursday evenings and led by renowned local rock musician George Farrar
Designed for aspiring and experienced musicians alike, the new programme offers dedicated rock band sessions for two age groups:
• Ages 11–16 Thursdays 5.30 to 6.45pm
• Adults Thursdays 7.00 t 8.30pm
The classes will provide students with the opportunity to develop their musicianship in a real band environment, learning essential skills such as ensemble playing, stagecraft, performance techniques, improvisation, communication, and arranging popular rock songs.
The programme is particularly suited to:
• Drummers
• Bass Players
• Keyboard and Piano Players
• Guitarists
• Vocalists
Participants will work together in small groups under George Farrar’s expert guidance, gaining invaluable experience performing alongside fellow musicians while building confidence and developing their individual musical abilities.
George's extensive performance experience and passion for nurturing local talent make him the perfect mentor for students of all ages.
The new Thursday evening rock groups aim to create a fun, supportive and inspiring environment where musicians can connect with others who share their passion for rock music, while working towards live performances and showcase events throughout the year.
Places are expected to be limited and early registration is encouraged.
