Little b's Childminding Harrogate

Lots of big steps and little discoveries yesterday! 🦖 We had a wonderful walk around Harrogate following the LEGO dinosaur trail. Spotting the dinosaurs in the windows was brilliant for building focus, practicing counting, and talking about different shapes and colors. A perfect morning of active, outdoor learning!"

Last week we said good bye to Miss F, her big sister Miss C and their family. We hope she has an amazing time at big school, we know she will love it!

We took Miss F to Lotherton, Fairy Ballet and a beach visit!

We received some lovely gifts from the family and we will all miss them very much!

I've had a great day at my first Schema Play accreditation training today. I'm looking forward to bringing the learning into the setting and continuing the accreditation over the next few months.

We survived the heat! This week, we've enjoyed a visit to Studfold Fairy trail and lots of water fun in the garden!

✨ We had the most magical morning at Fairy Ballet! 🧚‍♂️

Our little adventurers met Fairy Amara, who swept us away on a grand journey through fairy land. We love that these classes are so much more than dance—they perfectly cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum through play and storytelling. 📚✨

Our gang of boys absolutely loved exploring, leaping, and adventuring through the magical kingdom. Proof that fairy land is for everyone! 🌲👑

We have been asked to review our sleep arrangements to bring them in line with The Lullaby Trust ahead of statutory changes coming in September. We have been out and brought 6 new travel cots and bedding to be able to offer all our mindees a cot to sleep in.

We will be issuing a sleep policy to all parents to make them aware too.

Over the winter we've had artificial turf put down to improve our outdoor provision. This spring, we have revamped the play kitchen and blackboard, and are just waiting for some sails to make the space shady.

The children have been enjoying using the space too.
