The children in year 2 had a wonderful experience on Sports Day last Thursday, taking part in a variety of exciting races and activities. They showed great enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination throughout the day, cheering each other on and celebrating their achievements. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they challenged themselves, and the smiles on their faces made the day truly memorable for everyone involved.

Look at our fantastic new sports tops! 🏅

A huge thank you to our PTFA, as well as Verity Frearson Estate Agents and Trusted Mortgage & Protection Advisors, for their generous sponsorship. Their support has helped provide our children with these brilliant new tops, and we think you'll agree they look fantastic!

The children are incredibly proud to wear them and look smart, professional, and ready to represent our school at sporting events.

Thank you again for your continued support of our school community! 😊

This week in Maths, Year 3 have been exploring 3D shapes! We investigated a range of shapes, discussing their properties before creating our own models. Using these hands-on shapes, we counted and identified their faces, edges and vertices, helping us to understand how 3D objects are constructed.

🎨 Year 5 have been exploring poem portraits in Art this week. Using carefully chosen words and phrases, the children created portraits by varying the size, shape and placement of their writing to add interest and detail. They then experimented with different materials and compositions to create striking backgrounds for their artwork. The finished pieces are both creative and personal – we are very proud of them! ✨
