The showjumping classes at this year’s Nidderdale Show have been updated !!

📍 MAIN RING | 1.25pm–2.25pm approx.
🥇 Class 1 – KBIS Club Junior 60cm
🥈 Class 2a – KBIS Club Senior 70cm
🥉 Class 2b – KBIS Club Junior 70cm

✨ These classes are open to competitors not registered with British Showjumping.

📍 MAIN RING | 4pm onwards
🏇 Class 3 – Senior Newcomers 1st Round / 1.10m Open
🏇 Class 4 – Senior Foxhunter 1st Round / 1.20m Open

⭐ Classes 3 & 4 are for Affiliated riders.

There’s still time to get involved — whether you’ve grown something in the garden, been busy in the kitchen, or have a talent for flowers, crafts, photography or produce! 🌱🌸🍰📸

From potatoes, tomatoes and sunflowers to homemade bread, cakes, biscuits and pies, there are plenty of classes to have a go at. And with children also encouraged to enter the local classes, it’s a great opportunity for the whole family to get involved. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🐑 Sheep Exhibitors – Entries Are Now Open! 🐑

With classes for over 20 breeds, plus:
🐏 Commercial & pedigree sheep
🏆 Supreme Championship
👩‍🌾 Junior Shepherd & Shepherdess
🥩 Butchers’ & Store Lambs
🧶 Commercial Fleece & Carcass Classes
🎖️ A fantastic selection of trophies, special prizes and championship awards

📅 Judging starts at 9.45am
🏅 Supreme Championship: 2.00pm
🏆 Presentation of Sheep Trophies: Approx. 2.20pm
💷 Entry Fee: £3 per class (£2 for Junior Shepherd/Shepherdess)
📍 Entries close: Saturday 22nd August
🐑 Commercial Fleece classes can be entered on the day – FREE!

⚠️ Please remember:
✅ MV accredited sheep must arrive with a valid Health Status Report.
✅ Movement documents must be completed and handed to the steward on arrival and departure.
✅ The use of organo-phosphorous sprays before or on show day is prohibited.

✨🎉 Nidderdale Agricultural Society Annual Dinner Dance 2026 🎉✨

📅 Saturday 2nd May 2026
📍 Pavilions of Harrogate
🕖 7.00pm for 7.20pm

Get your diary out… it’s one of the highlights of the Nidderdale social calendar! 🥂💃🕺

The evening will begin with a Drinks Reception, followed by a delicious three-course dinner:

🍤 Prawn Cocktail
🥩 Slow Cooked Daube of Beef braised in red wine, served on mashed potato with seasonal vegetables
🍫 Chocolate Brownie with warm chocolate sauce
☕ Tea, Coffee & Mint Chocolates

After dinner there’ll be short speeches, a raffle 🎟️ and then we’ll dance the night away to live music from Ticket🎶 — one of Harrogate’s most popular bands (as seen at the Great Yorkshire Show!)
