Our last ‘parents’ lunch’ of the school year. We were delighted to welcome two of our parents into school today to enjoy lunch with the children before joining some of our Year 5&6s for games and chat.

We're delighted to announce that the Community Foundation has officially signed a new partnership with the Nidderdale Federation St. Cuthbert's C of E Primary School Glasshouses Community Primary School🤝⚽

From September, our education team will be taking to the pitch (or playground) as the PE provider across both federation schools.

This is fantastic for our growing education department and reflects our commitment to providing fun, engaging and high-quality PE that inspires young people to be active, build confidence and develop skills that last a lifetime.

Every new school we work with is another opportunity to make a real difference, helping children enjoy physical activity, discover new sports and create positive experiences they'll remember for years to come.

We're incredibly excited to join the team at Nidderdale Federation, they are two lovely schools, with great facilities and friendly staff: it’s amazing to see their investment in supporting their pupils with these opportunities; we can't wait for kick-off! ⚽

Being a partner school, they will benefit from free match tickets, player visits, stadium tours, competitions, an assigned coach and access to Premier League initiatives, plus much more 🤩

Today, we celebrated our Year 6 leavers from across the federation, at a special assembly attended by family and friends.

🐍🌟 Double the Enrichment, Double the Excitement! 🌟🐢
Today (Friday 10th), our pupils enjoyed two very special treats!
First, one of our pupils kindly brought in the shed skins from her pet snakes, giving everyone a fascinating opportunity to see them up close and learn more about how snakes grow and change.
We then welcomed Ollie, a zoologist, into school, who brought along a selection of snakes and a tortoise for us to see, touch and even hold! The children were captivated by the experience and showed great curiosity.

A wonderful hands-on learning experience that brought our science to life! 🐍🐢💚

The Online Leaders did a great job at launching our 'Summer off Screens' project this morning in assembly. Please look out for their letter in children's book bags and support our children to have a screen free summer!

We were lucky to have a visit from a volunteer from the RNLI today who gave us very important messages to keep us safe around water.

We practiced shouting for help and floating for life.
