Every week Amethyst challenge themselves in their arithmetic lesson and many of them do their own test then try their skills on the test from the year above.
This week we shone a light on someone who has persevered for several months with this, asked to be taught new skills and who managed today to answer 27 out of the 28 questions! The whole class were proud of her!

The first 'Fiver Challenge ' was a huge success. Well done everyone.

Before half term, our wonderful Happiness Heroes helped raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

The children got involved in a range of fun and meaningful activities, including wellbeing bingo, a quiz, and our special “Wear It Green” day. It was fantastic to see everyone taking part and learning more about the importance of looking after their mental health.

A big thank you to Lucy from MIND for visiting our school and speaking to us about the importance of caring for our emotions and supporting one another.

We’re so proud of all our pupils for embracing these activities with such enthusiasm! 💚

We held our first ‘Time for a Cuppa’ tea party today and raised £79.94 for Dementia UK.

Thank you to everyone for coming and for your kind donations of goodies and £££s.

Next Friday, we will be hosting our first Dementia UK Tea Party instead of our usual Celebration Assembly, from 3-3:30pm in the school hall.

All parents/carers/grandparents welcome - RSVP required for numbers (letter going home with the children today).

Suggested donation of £2 per person please (cash).

Donations of baked goods would also be welcome.
