The baby's really enjoyed this colour matching activity this morning. Vibrant primary colours help support baby's memory and also stimulates the baby's developing brain. They all did such a good job at trying to match the objects to the correct coloured scarf. 🌈

Mark making with cars is an engaging early childhood play activity where the toddlers enjoyed pushing their toy cars through paint and then creating lots of different marks and tracks on the paper. It builds crucial fine motor strength and improves hand-eye coordination. 🚗🚕

This morning the toddlers enjoyed building an obstacle course, the toddlers used physical and mental skills throughout this play. They built on their gross motor strength by dragging the tyres to where they wanted them to be, they developed their balancing skills and coordination, and also gained spatial awareness as their friends jumped and climbed through the course.

This morning the toddlers went on a scavenger hunt this helped to boost their development by combining physical movement with early cognitive growth. The children were able to build on their observation skills, enhance their language development through naming the different animals they could see, it also helped to boost confidence as each toddler praised a friend when they spotted something. 🕵️‍♀️🐦🐞

This morning the toddlers enjoyed exploring the sensory water and scent play. We combined coloured water with natural aromatics which were lemons, limes and fresh herbs. The toddlers were able to build their fine motor skills and the activity also encouraged lots of open-ended imaginative play. 🍋🍋‍🟩

The babies have been having fun with the song bag!
Using our song bag, the children enjoyed joining in with familiar nursery rhymes, actions and interactive songs. Singing together helps develop communication and language skills, listening and attention, early literacy, confidence and social interaction, all while having lots of fun!

Our children have been exploring the beauty of nature through observational painting using real life sunflowers as inspiration. They carefully looked at the colours, shapes, textures and patterns before creating their own wonderful art work.
The children learned that everyone sees and created art differently, celebrating their own unique ideas and creativity. We are so proud of their beautiful masterpieces!

Armed with their binoculars and magnifying glasses, we headed out to the toddler garden to see what mini beasts we can find.
After our exciting adventure we shared a bug themed story, sharing lots of conversations about the creatures they spotted.
They all worked as a team and had the most fun.

Today our children became entomologists. They started by exploring a tuff stay willed with mud and a variety of different mini beasts, carefully searching, identifying, identifying and talking about the different bugs they could find.

The excitement continued outside as they grabbed their binoculars and magnifying glasses and headed to the garden for a real life bug hunt. The children loved looking under leaves, exploring the natural habitats and discovering the fascinating creatures that share our outdoor space.

This activity helps develop observational skills, introduce early science concepts and helps children develop a love and respect of nature.
