We’re delighted to have a new trikes track installed as part of the **‘Thinking Community’ initiative **, giving our youngest children a fun and practical way to learn about road safety through play.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this fantastic project to life. We can’t wait to see the children enjoying the track and developing these important road safety skills along the way! 🚧🚗

It's coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 year 1 had a great time singing sweet Caroline this afternoon during their in class singing time!

Year 1 had an amazing talent show this afternoon, singers, ballet dancers and comedy acts. The class’ favourite was ‘why did the horse cross the road…to see its NEIGHbour’. Such a great afternoon enjoying our growing talents!

🌟 Our Gardening Club was Highly Commended in the Yorkshire Agricultural Society Veg Box Competition! 🥕🥔🥬

As a reward, we enjoyed a brilliant day at the Great Yorkshire Show, meeting amazing animals, making our own sausages, and finishing with an ice cream, kindly provided by our PTA. 🐄🌭🍦

Year 1 have been busy learning all about o’clock and half past! Today, the children enjoyed a fun matching activity, matching the clocks to the correct times. 🕐🔍

What a lovely way to end our final free Community Forest School session of the year! 🌿 It's been so special watching the children grow in confidence, make new friends and develop a love for the outdoors. It’s also been wonderful to see families and childminders connect and build friendships along the way. Forest School gives preschool children the chance to explore, discover and learn through nature in such a unique and meaningful way. Thank you to all the wonderful families and childminders who joined us this year. Have a brilliant summer. ☀️

It was lovely to welcome families to our EYFS forest school stay and play last week. We loved using the new bug pots and toasting marshmallows.

Our vegetable patch is thriving! 🌱🍅

Take a look at all our wonderful produce – we've got beans, tomatoes, potatoes, chard, and even a very small giant pumpkin! 🎃 We're so excited to see everything growing so well.

A huge thank you to the lovely residents next to the field who kindly helped us out with some extra water. Your generosity is so appreciated and is a wonderful example of amazing community spirit. 💚

Year 3 and 4 had an amazing time at the Valley Gardens today!! 💪

Year 5 and 6 had a brilliant final forest school session on Friday. We even made our own popcorn with our special new popcorn tool!
