Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing mummies & grandmas!

World Book Day was a blast! Stories read, shared, enacted, created and reimagined with lots of props and play. And the children have looked so fantastic in their costumes all week. 📚📘😊

An exciting delivery today!!! Our big decking blocks arrived and were an instant hit! A great addition to our outdoor resources, with endless opportunities for imaginative play and physical development. A huge thank you to everyone who took part in all the Christmas fundraising events; this is what we bought with the money raised. 👏🏻👏🏻😊

The week before we broke up for half term it was Children’s Mental Health Week. We spent some time talking about and exploring our feelings, particularly the people and things that make us happy. We had some lovely conversations and some great answers! 🩷❤️🥰

And we’re done!!! It’s felt like the longest term ever but we made it despite all the 🦠🤧🤢!
And boy, are the staff team happy to see the back of this little eejit! 😆

Ernie had a lovely (for a change) surprise waiting for the children this morning. They all made their own gingerbread star cookies and decorations. The whole building smelled amazing! ⭐️
Keeping with the theme, afterwards there was the opportunity for a bit of mark-making, designing and/or colouring a gingerbread man. 😊

Elf Hide & Seek…….think the mess he made might give him away!!! 😆

Wonder how long it will take our little ones to spot Ernie tomorrow! 😁
