An experienced nanny worked at Middleton Lodge Estate 🌿 earlier in the week looking after the Bride and Grooms two young children.

The role involved caring for the children in the farmhouse on Sunday evening whilst the wedding party had their wedding eve celebrations 🍾
Then full day and evening care during the Wedding Day on Monday 😍

+++ Part Time Nanny +++

Harrogate, North Yorkshire
To start September 2026

Mon - Fri - 2/3pm - 6pm each day
Family are able to offer a few more hours if required and could have a 25/30 hour week with housekeeping.
(This could be a Mon - Thurs role)

2 children aged 4 and 7 years old (both at school)

The role will involve:
- After school care for 2 children
- Collect from school at 4/5pm (club dependent)
- Prep meals (dinner for kids, batch cook meals where needed)
- Light housework – tidying, putting away washing etc

If candidates require the higher number of hours, the role will involve household management alongside the nanny care.

This family is looking for someone who has previous nanny experience.

Saturday 3rd Oct 2026

5pm - 11pm

1 baby aged 9 months old / 1 child aged 2 years old (cousins)

This role will involve caring for the baby at his Grandparents house - a few mins walk away from the wedding venue. The nanny will give the baby tea and then do the bath/bedtime routine between 6pm and 7pm.
A family member will bring the 2 year old back to the house for bedtime.
The nanny will then babysit them both in the house until someone returns.

There will be no pets in the family home.
Driver not required for the role but must be able to get to and from the house independently.

7.30am - 6pm

1 baby aged 10 months old

The main responsibility is making sure the baby is occupied, fed and changed throughout the wedding day, and put down for naps when required. The baby will be part of the wedding.

The family would like to meet the nanny before the wedding day.

Tues, Wed and Thurs - 6.30am - 8am and 5.30pm - 7pm
(The hours above are what the family NEED, they are open to options and suggestions for extra hours if required)

There will be some evenings when extra hours until 10pm may be required - due to shifts at mums work.

1 child aged 18 months old

The role will include:

Arrival at family home approx. 6.30am to get toddler ready for nursery and then drop her off in Harrogate.

Collection from nursery before 18.00, drive back to house and give dinner.
If staying later, bath and bedtime routine to be carried out and babysit until a parent returns.

Previous childcare experience required with similar aged children.

Driver required, ideally with own car

Just got home (in time to not miss the solar eclipse!! 😅) from an afternoon paddleboarding at Woodlands wild swim & sauna 😍

We had the best time and would highly recommend. Our son had never been near a paddleboard before but soon got the hang of it and got himself stood up!

Such great fun and it kept us cool 🌞

This role is to look after the 2 children whilst the parents attend a wedding at Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey.

All usual daily childcare duties required - make snacks and meals, lots of play and engagement, evening and bedtime routine.

No pets in the property
Driver not required for the role but must be able to get to and from the property independently.
