"Courage Calls to Courage Everywhere"

This is a quote by Millicent Garrett Fawcett, a leader of the suffragette movement. The phrase appears on a banner held by the statue of Fawcett in London's Parliament Square and is inspired by the death of Emily Wilding Davison, a suffragette who died after running in front of the King's horse at the Epsom Derby in 1913.

The quote signifies that one person's courage inspires others and serves as a lasting call for continued action and solidarity in the pursuit of rights and equality.
