The Reception children had a very special experience at home time! Alongside learning the story ‘Ready, Steady Mo!’ Ahead of sports day, they have been learning about different countries and cultures and how these can be different and the same and how we can celebrate this! Mrs Lees came to school to read a lovely story about the moon in Spanish! 🇪🇸 😊 📖 🌚 the children sat and listened beautifully ❤️

It is nearly time for the summer fair. Keep Friday 10th July free. The PTA need your support. If you have any raffle prizes please send into the school office or comment on here and a member of the PTA will message you to arrange collection. We are now also taking donations of cuddly toys for the teddy tombola and uniform for our second hand uniform stall. Bluebell class looked at the different senses. We explored the question - can you still tell what something is if you can’t see it? We decided that we could tell what lots of things were by using our sense of smell.

Reception had a great morning completing a circuit of different activities in PE. We are beginning to think about skills we might need for sports day! 🏃 🥇

Brilliant work in Beech Class this afternoon where in Art the children moved on to learn how to produce 2 point perspective drawings of buildings. These are pretty impressive! 🤩

Off for the final peak. They are looking a little less energetic this time we’ve seen them. There are certainly some sore feet.
