Then and now!
Last summer we got the keys to the Bishop Thornton site. It was in a sad state of disrepair, hadn’t been loved or occupied for some time. We spent many, many hours over the summer cleaning, painting and renovating it to bring it back to life for the community it sits in and for our students. We managed to open in the September and we couldn’t have been happier with how it has turned out, it is now much loved by all!

I was delighted to see the finished article hanging at Bishop Thornton site. This mosaic has been a labour of love for staff and students since the opening of our site in September. I think you’ll agree they have done a fantastic job! The detail is phenomenal.

What an exciting new chapter for Bishop Thornton! The new chicken hut is complete, and the chickens are happily settled in. Staff and students are thrilled with their new space and are excited to care for and look after their newest feathered members of the school community. 🐣🐓

Students enjoyed picking strawberries 🍓 in the sun and then making smoothies (with a very unusual mixing method!) 🚲 They were natural and delicious!
