Over the past few weeks Tweenies have had lots of exciting activities to explore. We have been following their interests which has led to lots of messy play 🎨 and lots of water play. 💧

Tweenies have been working on their
-communication and language
- creative skills, focusing on using their fine and gross motor skills
- sharing and turn taking.

We have enjoyed going on our nature walk, carrying our clipboards and ticking off all the exciting items we find along the way.

Last week in Barbara's room the children enjoyed learning all about mermaids and fairies based on their interest. 🧜💫

The children have used their fine motor skills, and their amazing imaginations and have created some very magical artwork.

Together outside they worked as a team, and enjoyed giving each other Fairy wings this was so much fun!!

They have enjoyed multiple sensory tuff trays and have enjoyed exploring all the different textures.

Using their constructions skills they have created their very own fairy village, and hosted a fairy tea party which they baked their very own fairy cakes which were so delicious!!

On another note it's been emotional, as some of our friends have said goodbye as they move on and begin their new adventure beginning school.

Barbara wishes all her children the best for starting school, and she is ever so proud of them all. 😊

In Barbara's room last week following the world cup we have been super creative, we have created our very own football teams.⚽

We have used our creative and fine motor skills to create our very own England flags and football print pictures🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We engaged in many football tuff trays, which we used our imaginations to play together with our friends.

We used our physical and gross motor skills to play football, and many other ball games outside. we enjoyed creating our own teams with our friends.

Finally to finish the week we baked our very own football cake which was soooo delicious!!

Life lately in the baby room!🥰

Sorry for the social media silence from the baby room, we have been too busy having fun! ✨

Today in the baby room we have followed the children's interest... All things vehicles! 🚜 🚗 🚐

We did a super fun messy activity which always goes down a treat in our room.

We throughly enjoyed rolling the vehicles up and down through the paint, we even rubbed it on our bodies which we found so funny!

Mummy's and daddy's we will all need a good scrub in the bath tonight!! 😅

In Barbara's room we have followed activities based on the children's interests, which are currently dinosaurs, role play and numbers. 🦕🦖🔢

Using our imaginations we have created some amazing dinosaur masks which we have enjoyed role playing with.🎨

We have explored many tuff trays, but we have particularly enjoyed the tuff tray based on the book Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs, we then enjoyed reading and sharing the book together.

Together we have baked some delicious number biscuits, which we used our numeracy skills to recognise the numbers. We also baked star biscuits which we gave to our friends following the topic of kindness.

We created our very own fossils which was so interesting to learn about, and no matter the weather we have enjoyed playing outside together!!! ☔☀️

we have had a fun packed week in preschool, we have been learning all about minibeast which has been soooo interesting. 🐞 🪲

We have baked some delicious butterfly buns which were sooo yummy!! 🦋

We have used our creative and fine motor skills to create our very own minibeast's which we were so proud of!!

Together we explored many sensory tuff trays from finding different insects in the rainbow rice, to then discovering the insects which were trapped inside the ice.🧊

Although we have enjoyed all our planned activities the children have shown great imagination and have engaged in their own play.
