Our Gardening Club were delighted to welcome Tim from the Yorkshire Agricultural Society this week to judge our Veg Box Planter competition entry. 🌱🥕🍓
The children spoke so confidently and enthusiastically about all the wonderful fruits, vegetables, and flowers they have grown and cared for throughout the year. Their knowledge, passion, and hard work truly shone through, making Mrs McCarthy and Mrs Bailey incredibly proud.
Well done to everyone involved, and thank you for all your hard work and dedication! 🌿✨

Reception harvested the strawberries that they have been growing and learnt that when they harvest food, it needs washing before eating. Lots of children said that they were "really juicy and sweet". The lettuces and tomatoes are doing really well too!

KS1 have been learning to tell the time, including o’clock, half past, quarter past and times past the hour by counting in steps of 5. Please help your child consolidate this learning at home by regularly practising reading clocks and discussing the time throughout the day.
