There is nothing better than messages like this.
Watching a family go from broken nights to a baby sleeping through and settling independently is exactly why I do what I do.
Gentle, consistent support really does make all the difference — and yes, even the “Yorkshire tight husbands” are converted in the end.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your little one.
If you’re feeling exhausted and unsure where to start, I’m here to help you create calm, confident sleep for your whole family.

The biggest sleep mistake parents make? Letting mornings drift consistent morning routine can transform your baby's sleep.
One of the most important foundations for good naps and an easier bedtime is actually how your baby starts the day.
Waking your baby at the same time each morning helps regulate their body clock.
When your baby starts the day at a consistent time, it sets them up for:
• More predictable naps
• Better sleep pressure during the day
• An easier, calmer bedtime
• More settled nights
Babies thrive on rhythm and routine. When their mornings are predictable, their whole day tends to tall into place much more smoothly.
If mornings vary widely, it can throw off nap timing and make bedtime much more challenging.
Consistency really is key.
Aim to start your baby's day at the same time each morning, even if they've had a tricky night. Within a few days, their body clock will begin to adjust and sleep often becomes much more settled.
Sleep isn't just about bedtime - it starts with the morning.

Is the dummy becoming a sleep crutch?
If your baby relies on a dummy to fall asleep, you probably know the struggle...
They drift off peacefully - until it falls out.
Then you're up again... all night long on dummy duty.
Here's the truth:
If your little one can't replace the dummy themselves, you'll always be on call.
To help them sleep more independently, it may be time to gently say goodbye to the dummy.
Here are my 3 top tips to help make the transition easier:
1. Pick the right time
Choose a period when things are relatively calm. Avoid times of illness, travel, or big developmental changes.
2. Be consistent
Once you decide to remove the dummy, try not to go back and forth. Consistency is key for helping your baby understand the new sleep expectations.
3. Offer an alternative comfort
Introduce a different sleep association, such as a soft comforter or small blanket (age appropriate). This can help your baby feel secure as they adjust to falling asleep without the dummy.
The good news is that most children adapt surprisingly quickly.
Many families see real change within 3-5 days with consistent support.
Sleep is a skill, and like all new skills it takes a little time

Let’s talk about Mum Guilt
Mum guilt is hard.
And it’s very real.
It’s something I’ve been feeling a lot lately.
I’m mum to an incredible 11-year-old autistic boy, and like many parents I’m juggling a lot. I work four days a week as a nanny caring for little ones, while also running my business supporting mums through the many stages of their parenting journey.
Every day I talk to parents about the importance of taking care of themselves. Taking a breath. Looking after their own wellbeing.
But the truth is, it’s not always easy to do what we know we should be doing when we’re in the thick of it.
Between work, parenting, appointments, emotions, routines and the mental load that comes with it all… sometimes there’s very little left for ourselves.
And that’s when the mum guilt can creep in.
The feeling that we should be doing more.
Being more.
Giving more.
But if you’re feeling that way too, please know this:
You are not alone.
You are doing your best with everything on your plate.
You are showing up every day.
You care deeply.
And that means you are doing an amazing job.

Client feedback like this is exactly why I love the work I do.
Supporting parents through the early stages of motherhood can feel overwhelming at times, especially when it comes to sleep. Moving a baby into their own room is often a big milestone and many families feel unsure about how to approach it.
With gentle guidance, reassurance and a plan that suits your baby and your family, this transition can feel calm and positive.
It was such a pleasure supporting this lovely family and seeing their little one settle so well and sleep much more peacefully.
If you are struggling with your baby’s sleep, unsure about routines, or preparing for the move into their own room, I would love to support you.
