As we look ahead to the start of a new week, we had to take a moment to celebrate one of our excellent tutors, Danielle, after recently receiving this incredible feedback from a Year 11 family.

This feedback not only celebrates brilliant results, but also highlights the wider impact that personalised tuition can have on a student’s confidence and self-belief.

Thinking about tuition for your child? Here are the answers to four questions we’re regularly asked by families…

🤔 How do I know if tuition is right for my child? There’s no single reason to consider tuition. Some students need help filling gaps in their learning, while others benefit from increased confidence, greater challenge or additional support ahead of assessments. The right tuition should be tailored to your child and what they need.

🎓 Are all your tutors qualified teachers? Yes! Every North Tuition tutor is a qualified teacher and holds an enhanced DBS. Many of our tutors are also examiners within their specialist area. Our ‘Meet the Team’ page on the website shares tutor profiles, celebrating their expertise. We carefully match students with teachers based on their subject, year group and individual needs.

📅 How often should my child have tuition? Most of our students have a weekly lesson, providing consistency without overwhelming an already busy school week. However, tuition can be adapted depending on the student, their goals and the support required.

✓ How do we get started? Simply get in touch! We’ll find out a little more about your child, what you’re looking for and your availability before exploring the most suitable options within our teaching team. There’s no obligation to proceed.

🎓New Service – UCAS Application Support

🎓With UCAS applications for autumn 2027 entry now open from 2nd September, and following increased demand from families, we’re pleased to introduce UCAS Application Support as a new addition to our A-Level provision.

🎓Our experienced A-Level specialists can support students at different stages of the application process, from exploring course requirements and developing their personal statement to providing step-by-step guidance through UCAS.

🎓As with all North Tuition programmes, UCAS support is completely bespoke. Each programme is shaped around the individual student, working with their tutor to focus on their chosen courses, application stage and the areas where they would benefit most from additional guidance.

🎓Whether a student would benefit from a one-off session or support across several stages of their application, we can create a programme to suit their needs.
