Northern Performance Academy - NPA

The cast of the upcoming new musical ‘Miss Influential’ by Sarah Day and Nicole Johnson had the fantastic opportunity to work with both creatives recently in rehearsals. NPA Productions will be staging the musical in July for its world premiere!

The day ended with a brilliant performance for Sarah and Nicole. The cast performed some of the main ensemble numbers for them to see their musical jump from page to stage - for the very first time! A special moment for us all!

We finished a long day with a hugely inspiring Q and A session. The cast asked some really insightful questions and had the chance to learn about life as a professional composer, musician, actor and writer! Huge thanks to both ladies for their time, passion and energy in the room!

The two lead characters, both NPA students, had the incredible opportunity to meet and work with the amazing composer and West End musician, Nicole Johnson, and Writer/Actor Sarah Day on their brand new musical ’MISS INFLUENTIAL’ — and what an inspiring experience it’s been!

To collaborate with such talented creatives, bringing these characters and this story to life, has been truly unforgettable. The passion, creativity, and magic in the room has us even more excited for what’s to come. 💫

A huge congratulations to all of our students who auditioned for moving squads this month! We are incredibly proud of every single person who stepped into the room, challenged themselves, and gave it their all.

Auditions can bring excitement, nerves, pride — and sometimes disappointment. We know not everyone will receive the outcome they hoped for, and that can be tough.

But we encourage all of our students to trust the decisions of our coaching team, who always make choices with care, experience, and each performer’s long-term development in mind.
