We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting and investing in the future of St. Aidan’s Church of England High School as work progresses on the exciting new building development this summer.
While students and staff enjoy a well-deserved break, there has been fantastic progress on site, and it’s wonderful to see the vision becoming a reality.
✨ The transformation of the exterior is already making a striking impact.
✨ The new central corridor is creating an exciting route through the heart of the school.
✨ The new Sixth Form Study Centre and Lounge will provide a modern, welcoming environment for independent study, collaboration and relaxation.
At Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust, we are committed to investing in exceptional learning environments that support our young people to thrive. Seeing these developments take shape at St. Aidan’s is a reminder of what can be achieved through shared ambition, partnership and a commitment to delivering the very best for our communities.
We’re excited to see the project continue to progress over the summer and look forward to welcoming students and staff back to experience these fantastic new spaces.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this investment to life – we can’t wait to share more updates in the weeks ahead.

Many of our schools are forming teams for this year’s Knaresborough Bed Race and our Chief Financial Officer will be playing her French Horn in the parade!🎵⭐️
Among them will be All Saints CE Primary School, Kirkby Overblow, as staff and parents come together to take part in this fantastic local institution!
The team - made up of staff and parents of all ages and abilities - is taking on this much-loved local event to raise £1,000 towards upgrading the school’s outdoor play trail, helping to create an even better environment for children to learn and play.
The Knaresborough Bed Race is a unique and challenging occasion, combining a vibrant fancy dress parade with a demanding 2.4-mile race, finishing with a plunge through the River Nidd.
This year’s “Swinging Sixties” theme promises plenty of colour and creativity, with the All Saints bed set to feature giant retro sweets.
We are proud to see such strong community spirit and teamwork in action, and we wish everyone involved the very best of luck on the day. It is a fantastic example of how school communities come together to support opportunities that benefit all pupils.
