The Club Harpenden

We have come to the end of this half term and we are so happy to be back and returning back to some normality! We have had such a fun few weeks welcoming autumn and doing lots of crafts and activities to do with our favourite season. Thank you to all the children for helping make our beautiful notice board, and well done to our winners of our pumpkin designing competition!
We hope you all have a fun, safe half term and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

We are a small and friendly after school club based in the centre of Harpenden and are looking for the right person to fill a play assistant role we have available 3 afternoons a week.

Your key role would be assisting the children's play and learning as well as being a good team player and willing to get involved in all aspects of the children's afternoon routine.

No previous childcare experience necessary although would be preferred. If you are successful you will be expected to complete a DBS check and wiling to complete some training including safeguarding.

We are looking for a RELIABLE person who is confident with looking after children.

We are looking for another member to join our lovely team!! We ideally need someone on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, but can offer 5 afternoons a week to the suitable candidates. Very competitive rates of pay, and training available. Relevant qualifications and training desired but not essential. More hours are available during the summer!

Today we flew to Neverland! 💫 Peter Pan hats, panpipes, and pirate flags all turned out brilliantly. And a huge treasure hunt for clues was a great activity to avoid the miserable rain! 🏴‍☠️

☀️ 🌞 🍦 So a record breaking heatwave can’t stop us from having fun!! Yesterday was the turn of Paddington bear at club. We enjoyed decorating paddington cupcakes, and making tube station signs! And then made the most of the gorgeous shady garden and a sprinkler with a near 2 hour water fight! It certainly was a scorcher! ☀️ 🌞 🍦

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️Yesterday we kicked off our summer of books with the one and only Harry Potter! After being sorted into houses, and practicing spells we were very busy making our own wands, deathly hallows biscuits and lightning bolt bookmarks! You know who needs to watch out! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Now the fun can truly begin, and here is the first 2 and a half weeks book days we have planned 📚
