This is an exciting opportunity to enjoy a working day in our beautiful and enriching forest area and the stimulating indoor setting at Fingertips Woodland Nursery. We spend a large proportion of our time engaged in outdoor learning and forest school, alongside a rich indoor curriculum.
Your role will involve helping to organise transitions between indoor and outdoor activities, supporting the team with planning and delivering engaging sessions, and ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met.
A relevant qualification is required for this role: NVQ Level 3, NNEB, Norland Nanny, or an equivalent childcare or teaching qualification.

Amazing Lily-May 💖

Lily-May is 4 years old and has been having chemotherapy since she turned 1, to try and get her brain tumour under control. The tumour has caused her to have hydrocephalus, to go blind in her left eye and she also has limited vision in her right eye. We celebrated her finishing chemo after 3 years in October 2020, but unfortunately after 6 months her tumour has significantly grown and she will now complete another year of chemotherapy 💖

Looking for some excitement on your daily walk?
Two things littlies will love in the local area:

1) Check out the ponds at Lydekker park, thousands of tadpoles swimming around in the shallows and we even spotted a newt!

2) Baby ducklings have just hatched and are out swimming on the pond on Harpenden Common.

Lovely signs of Spring and regeneration and a great outdoor learning opportunity.
