HAPPY WELLBEING WEDNESDAY!

The sun is shining for us this Wednesday, let’s not forget last month’s wellbeing walks! ☀️🚶

Our theme for this month is ‘SLEEPING!’

Getting a good nights sleep is key when it comes to looking after our bodies and minds. Not only does sleep reduce stress and improve brain function 🧠, it also gives our bodies time to restore and repair, improving heart health ❤️ and strengthening our immune systems! It is recommended to get between 7-9 hours of sleep each night! 🛌

So lights out at night and let’s get snoozing so we can be on full function in the nurseries! 😴🧙‍♀️

We are pleased to be initiating Wellbeing Wednesdays for the first Wednesday of every month! Working in the Early Years Sector is incredibly rewarding but can also be challenging, so it is really important for all Nursery Workers to look after themselves!

This Wednesday our theme is Wellbeing Walks! Did you know that just 30 minutes of getting outdoors and walking is proven to have a significant positive impact on both physical and mental health! So let’s get walking for our bodies and our minds!

How often do you manage to get out for a walk? 🚶🌳🌸
