Year 2 πΈ
Year 2 have been learning about what school was like in the past and compared that to school now. We thought about the changes such as: classroom seating, desks, writing materials, playground games and punishments. We think we definitely have more fun at school now and love all the technology we can use!

Year 3 VR π€©
Year 3 have been learning all about plants and seed dispersal. We used the VR headsets to explore an active scene showing different methods of seed dispersal. We spotted coconuts floating in the water, seeds being carried along by a rabbit and even some seeds that had been eaten by a bird!

Year 4 Art π¨
Children have created their wonderfully bold and expressive artwork, inspired by our focus artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat. We combined pictures, words and symbols to capture his style and each piece is full of creativity, colour and energy.

Year 1 Geography βπΌ
In Geography we looked at the traffic in our local area and talked about how it can impact pollution. The children enjoyed taking a short walk to a nearby busy road where they carried out a traffic survey. This activity helped us collect information about the amount of traffic and consider how it might contribute to pollution in Harpenden. It was a fantastic chance for the children to take their learning beyond the classroom and observe their local environment first-hand. A big thank you to the wonderful parents who kindly volunteered to helpβyour support is greatly appreciated.
